Michael Salzman, M.S., M.D.

Dr. Michael Salzman received his license in New York State to practice Medicine and Surgery in 1981. He has been a trusted medical provider, practicing medicine in the Capital Region for more than 25 years. He has a specialty in Internal Medicine and is Board Certified in Anti-Aging Medicine.

Dr. Salzman has always had an interest in dermatology and has concentrated on cosmetic lasers for skin improvement with specialized certifications in Botox, Juvéderm, Mesotherapy and Laser Liposuction. He has been invited to become a national instructor to physicians in a number of these procedures..

Dr. Salzman, has published in the Physician's Quarterly Journal for the Medical Society of New York and was a regular columnist on health issues for the Capital District Business Review column HealthWorks and Management. Dr. Salzman has consulted on compliance issued for Medicare cases in New York State and also served on the Utilization Review Committee at St. Peter’s Medical Hospital

He is a member of the

• the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery
• the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery and
• The Society of Aesthetic Medicine

He also holds a Masters of Science degree in Health Policy Services, from the New School of Social Research in which he earned summa cum laude.
